Everytime I try and put in my new ipod itunes cd for my new ipod it says that it can't install it because my mac already has this. Which I am guessing is from my old ipod. I have deleted itunes numerous times and re-installed it to see if this would work but it doesn't. I just want my computer to recognize my new ipod as the main one for itunes, instead of syncing it to my itunes like it is a guest ipod. Please I need some help !!!!

  1. You don't have to reinstall it. You computer should recognize the iPod if you connect it. You can now choose to auto sync it or not.

It's on the first tab if you click the IPod icon.

    there are three checkmarks

0 Sync automaticely when this IPod is connected

    0 Sync only selected numbers

    0 Sync manually
