How do you delete recent searches from google using safari?

Click on the magnifying glass drop down arrow. At the bottom of the list it says "Clear recent searches"

By the way, you might try the "Private Browsing feature." Allows you to browse and stores no history or cookies. Must be turned off though when you log on to Yahoo or myspace etc.

on mac click the safari tab then private browsing. On PC I believe it is in the edit tab.
