How do you delete the InSimenator?

I bought the Sims 2 Seasons about a month ago, and it's a great game but I'm having some problems with it. I can't fish, I can't catch butterflies, and I can't play in the snow. And I have heard that I have to delete the InSimenator to do those stuff. I never installed the InSimenator on purpose, it just came with a lot that I downloaded from TheSims2.com. The InSimenator doesn't even work and I don't really need it. So can anybody tell me how to delete it?

I can fish and stuff when I disable all of my downloads, but when I disable them, I can't buy cars and other objects that I have downloaded.

Help!!

Also, I can't invite other sims over on the phone. Does anybody know why?

There should be an EA/Sims 2 folder in your my documents, and within that a downloads folder.

Look for any file with "InSimenator" in the filename and delete it.

No. you don't have to do that. Just Load your sims, and when it says Enable or Disable custom content click disable..... than quit and do it again and you should be able to catch butterflies.... and etc.
