How do you delete the drop down menu in the search toolbar?

I want to delete all my previous search information. I want to get rid of that box that appears when I type the first letter of a search! Does anybody know how?

If you are using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete. Then clear forms. This will erase the search history. If you don't want things showing up again then deselect the auto complete options at the top of the page. Be sure to select ok at the bottom. Clearing the history only deletes sites visited and doesn't clear the search history in the search bar.
