How do you delete websites from the internet address bar?

Please state your browser

For IE, go to tools, internet options, under browsing history delete, then delete history (If you are on Vista you may have to click the two arrows to the side on the right hand side to get to tools)

Edit:

For Firefox, go to tools, clear private data, uncheck all but history, then press delete

hit the alt. and the letter "t" at the same time. a mini will come up, at the bottom of the mini you will see  Internet  Options

click that button look for browsing history. you see the delete button. then click on it it could take a few min. if you have never used it. you should hit the delete all button that will come up on the second screen.
