How do you delete your search hostory on search engins on your comp?

basicaly so people can't see what you hav searched on search engins on your computer ? it is annoying havin a big list pop up...............

Well First, come down with all the p**n searches....J/K. To clear the history there are severle ways to do it. I would say the easiest way would be to clear your cookies. Im not sure what browser your using but i will walk you through the Internet Explorer and most others are pretty much the same.

1) Click Tools

2) Internet Options

3) Browsing history - Deleate

4) i think you need to delete form data, but just to be safe, click delete all. one of those gets rid of just the web searches.

press and hold Ctrl + H and delete it from there, but if you want to delete all the things u typed, then go to tools, then click on clear private data.

Put your mouse cursor onto items in your list and right click. The option to delete will come up.

try using crapcleaner which is a nice free little programme which clears your history or switch over to firefox instead of Internet explorer and set it to delete your history upon exit

If you are using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete. Then clear forms. This will erase the search history. If you don't want things showing up again then deselect the auto complete options at the top of the page. Be sure to select ok at the bottom. Clearing the history only deletes sites visited and doesn't clear the search history in the search bar

when you are in your browser, at the top if you have a button called tools, click on it and open " clear private data "

or

click on history and then click " clear history "
