How do you delete yourself from a yahoo group?

i didnt mean to become a part of a group and now im part of the wrong group plz help me !!!

You are talking of groups YOU set up?

If so, hit the contacts tab.  On the left side are the categories (Groups).

Find the category you want to remove yourself from, open it, check your name and (Remove from Category).

If you are in someone elses Y! group, you'll have to get THEM to remove you.

This is the easiest and quickest way to remove yourself from a Yahoo group:

Sign in to Yahoo and go to that Yahoo group's home page.

Click "Edit Membership" near top of page.

Scroll down toward bottom of page and click "Leave Group".

On the next page that comes up, Click "Leave Group".

You will then receive a private email from Yahoo to verify that you are wanting to leave the group. Click "Reply", then click "Send". You will then be instantly removed from that group. You might receive a few more messages from that group, then they will stop coming to your email address.

leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form

go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes
