How do you demolish an old terminal at Airport Tycoon 3?

my friend can only make 2 terminals and cannot demolish either one of them its saying "You can't demolish this terminal" any one can help out with these please? THANKS IN ADVANCE! ~hoping for a helpful answer :)

sorry, go to the games section. the question is about the game Airport Tycoon 3 and only the terms have something to do with aviation.

we here, prefer to fly than to construct the airports we need to land.
