How do you describe a bad smell?

what words do you use to describe someone who smells? What kind of smells do you resemble the smelly person to?

Words such as odiferously potent.   Or Maloderously obnoxious.   This infers that his body odour is disturbingly disruptive in normal social contact.

You could say he smelt as bad as if the flies normally circulating a thousand camels had infested his armpits and groin after he had competed in a cesspool cleaning competition.
