Ok, so I'm writing a novel and the girl falls in love, but one problem...I don't know what it's like to fall in love! I mean I've read books and stuff but I still can't totally grasp the feeling...ya know? I need the reader to feel as if there in love too. So if you guys have any storys or desriptions or something, that would really help me. Thanks

  1. I agree with Berry BUT don't make it seem like she has nothing else in her life. Make the girl have other interests besides the boyfriend.

DO NOT go Twilight on us.

  2. Hm... it's just plain hard to explain...

    Love is like... you always want to be near that person, except that it's not that perfect.  Even when you're totally in love you can get upset or angry, so none of this is all the time, but II'll stop rambling and just talk about the happy parts. o.O;

You want to touch the person you love, even if its just to hold their hand or stroke their cheek (of course wanting more is normal too, lol).

You care so much about them that... that it sort of overpowers everything else in your life, at least sometimes.  (not all the time like in Twilight, but just enough.  I really miss my boyfriend when he goes away fro a little while to visit his parents or whatever, but it's not like I mope around or have nothing to do with myself.)

I think you feel comfortable around the person you love, rather than constantly blushing and being nervous or afraid.  Maybe you blush and all at first, but that dies down and you just enjoy being together.

Love is easiest to show in simplicity.  Don't explain love through all the great dates and presents they have.  Instead explain their love through a quiet moment doing absolutely nothing together.  Maybe they lie in the grass with their foreheads together waiting for sunrise, something cheesy like that, lol.

When you're in love, you want the person you love to be happy.  You try to help them and protect them and, yes, give them little gifts every once in a while.  You also can become upset just because they aren't happy.

Okay, that's all I got, and I need to brush my teeth now. ^^;  Hope it helped!

  3. Make the character feel like they are the only two people left on earth.

Like nothing else matters except that person.

Make the character feel shy (of course) just looking at him

Make the character blush every time she thinks his name

Make the character feel like she would follow him to the end of the earth if she had to

    Stuff like that =D

  4.      In a word, Giving.

  5. I'm guessing falling in love feels a little bit different for every person, but here's what I felt like.

When you're in love, it's almost like magnetism. You want to be with that person all the time. You want to hear him laugh, see his smile, and just be close to him.

And something that I never hear people associate with love, but I sure felt, is seeing your future together. When I look at him, I can see, years from now, a little girl with his eyes and my smile. I can see us, fifty years from now, still holding hands while we walk down the street. I can see me letting him be a part of my life forever. And my heart feels (literally) warm when I think about it because I know I want just that. I want to be with him forever.

I don't honestly know that much about love. I'm not old enough to have experienced it more than once or twice. But that's just what I feel, so I hope I helped.

  6. Love isn't findin someone you can live with .. It's finding someone you can't live without ..

I hope this helps .. I found it somewhere don't kow who wrote it.
