  1. When spawning the male will develope white tubercules on his gills that look like white pimples. The female will develope a huge tummy when she's pregnant and when breeding them the male will chase the female.


  2. The answer above me is completely corret, although my male goldfish never got the "white spots" on his gills while mating. The male will often be a lot larger than the female!

  4. goldfish are very hard to s*x, unless they're mature enough to mate

    which is around 1-3 years of age, depending on species
