  1. You just know.

  2. You either do or you don't.  If you have even the slightest minuscule doubt about wanting children, then you should error on the side of caution and not have them.  The risk of having children, and not being a good parent is much too high.  Don't go there.

I am what is called child free.  I hang with a lot of other child free people.  We are happy with our choice.  I am 42, and have many stamps in my passport to prove that I made the right choice.

  3. You figure out for yourself whether you want kids or not. I'm pretty sure that I never want kids. I prefer to hang with childfree people.

  4. I agree with the first answer, it is as if your whole being is crying out for a baby.

  5. Either you become pregnant and love the idea, or you get puppies and hate the idea.  As for me, I am done with children.  I have three over the age of 18 and finally saw the "light at the end of the tunnel", so now I breed dogs.

    41 and female.

  6. try babysitting....just remember babies take more love then they give....its a lot of work.......if your not good at commitment....don't have kids

  7. You just know you are ready. Like myself i most definetly am ready physical and emotionally but I am not financially ready yet.Because i would like to be a stay at home mom so i am working for a year to save money so that i could stay home with my baby for the first year of his life. when you have all that planned out. you are definetly ready. of course if its an oops.. pregnancy you will heva to get ready regardless.

  8. Learn all about what it takes to raise a child from womb to tomb. Because once you become a parent it is until the day you die. Are you ready to be responsible, conscientious, tolerant, loving and self sacrificing? There will be days when it seems like you give and give and it is just never enough. Do research and ask God if you can handle such a high calling.
