You gather the information you need about something and then put it together in your head so that it all makes sense to you.  This information will connect with other related stuff that's already stored in your brain.  The end result will be your opinion about this or that.

example: how did i form the opinion that bush was a war criminal? i observed him on tv, he looked like one. then i l;ooked at statistics, so he killed over a million in just over 5 years. he destroyed and destroyed. the i looked at the trends: he like his predecessor fremasons were all war criminals
