  1. Keep your hands up, chin tucked and your eyes on your opponent. This will decrease your chances of getting hit. The art of boxing is to hit and not get hit. There are neck exercises and jaw exercises you can do to strengthen that area of your body. This can help you absorb the blow, but developing a chin? No. Keeping your defense tight and being elusive is always best!

  2. I have a headgear where I can hang a weight and exercise my neck. I also chew gum to strenghten my jaw. When I use to fight back in the early 80's, I only got KO once and that was from a body shot so I guess the neck exercise help.

  3. Chin Implants Hardened by Botox

    Thats what Antonio Margarito uses.

  4. I have heard getting large neck muscles will help, don't know if it's true though

  5. you don't actually need to develop a chin so you don't get knocked out easily, you just have to develop the skills you need to help you stopping getting hit on the chin in the first place,i.e keep it tucked in and your guard up and keep busy by moving this will minimise getting hit but if you do get hit who knows you might go down or you might stay upright.

  6. Simply put, it can't be done.  A glass jaw is unfortunately not something that can be "fixed".  The only thing you can do is strengthen your defense.  You also need to fight smart.  If you are going to throw jabs, make sure they have snap.  You don't want to paw with your jab because it will leave you exposed to counters.  Also, train to keep all of your punches as compact as possible.  Not only will this help your punching power but also minimize your exposure to big punches coming back at you.  Good luck.

  7. you don't you either have it or you don't. Working on muscles that support the neck is your closest option. Better to work on defense. Better not to get hit as much than be able to take lots of punches b/c eventually that will add up and it will damage you no matter how hard your chin is

  8. To not get knocked out, you need to work on your boxing offense, like slipping, bobbing and weaving, covering up etc. But to develop neck strength, you should spar often and go light-medium, do not go hard. Get used to getting hit in the head and relax, the punches will hurt less if you relax your head and do not tense up. Light-Medium sparring will get you used to being hit in the head, promise!
