How do you dial a phone No. like this: 555-SHOE ??

I was wondering how do you call phone numbers that have a word after them? e.g. 555-SHOE or 555-CALL or 555-TV or something like that??

As Sylvia says each number has a set of letters associated with it. It's possible your phone doesn't show the numbers so here's the list:

2 = abc

3 = def

4 = ghi

5 = jkl

6 = mno

7 = pqrs

8 = tuv

9 = wxyz

The 1 and 0 numbers have no letters associated.

that's easy!!

just look at the keys...like T is 8 and V is 8...you would call 555-88 etc..
