How do you die quickly in Zelda: Twilight Princess?

Question

I am trying to play TP in order to run the Twilight hack on the Wii, but I am not familiar w/ the game. I need to play once and save but I keep wandering around. How can I quickly get through, die, and save my progress as quickly as possible so I can move on?

I guess you just let the monsters attack you until you die.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to die in order to save, though.

you dont need to die to save.....??? um you just press start and well.....hit the SAVE button...derrrr.

jump off of a high ledge but with a maximum of five lives.

go to the east part of a field (if you are that far in the game) and fall down the big trench.
