Is there a difference?

For example sometimes I have visions of things, and I gues I deem them too good to be true and I just assume its wishful thinking.

  1. Imagination is creative,  where as Intuation is someting else.  You dont meen to "see" anything, it just happens.

  2. when you are right

  3. If you are serious about exploring this ability, then you will have to work this out for yourself. By learning to be very still inside - learning to stop your own personal voice - and by being very attentive to evidence that your ego or personality might be trying to get involved in the game, you can slowly develop the inner strength and skill to begin to take these "insights" seriously

  4. It is kind of sad to think we are still using formulas in reference to math that have been around for thousands of years.

The Ancient Greeks developed practically all the math we use today and the latter group probably borrowed the formulas from the ancient egyptians etc...

What i find most ironic is the engineering community that has the ignorance to use the saying "Think outside the box"

Hehe, they have a lot of nerve, i hope one day this ignorant group will have the humility to step outside the box and trust their own words...

  5. It feels like the thought comes from a different part of my brain.

  6. well, honestly, it takes a good imagination to see/feel psychic things. Now, my clairvoyance is just now improving, so I'm having more visions then I used to and they're clearer, so I can tell you that psychic visions come in through the third eye, which is the middle of the forehead. At least for me they do. But I can also "see" things with mind's eye. How do you tell, well, if you can try to varify. I've seen things, I think it might be called remote viewing, like seeing inside someone's house, with my mind's eye and been able to have it varified by the person. And the majority of psychic gifts take belief--if you don't believe it's a vision then it doesn't do you any good. Because you'll just assume it's all your imagination, you know? And the stronger you believe and practice, the more it improves, until you actually rely on what you see or feel.

    If that makes any sense....

  7. i tend to just know when its my intuition.. but i do mix them up sometime.. my intuition just comes as a feeling.. it suddenly pops into my head without me thinking of it..

your intuition is when you have a very strong feeling of about something.

  8. My imagination is pretty crisp and clear and I can control the direction of the thought.  My psychic insights, by contrast, are slightly hazy and, even though I'm in control of my physical self at all times, I cannot control the direction of the thought at all.

I get the "smell" feature all the time.  It's so embarrassing - when I used to work in a banking call center, I got a call from one customer and instantly smelled breakfast  (bacon, waffles, the whole meal).  I blurted out "mmm...smells like breakfast!" and the customer was like "oh yeah, it was really good too - we had waffles... and HEY!!... wait one second!!"

  9. I just sort of....know. like when I see something, and I feel that it's really, really real, then I'm like, wow, I'm really seeing this.

But if I see something, and it blips or fades or I can't feel, smell, taste or hear it, then it's just my imagination.

  10. Its simple-psychic not real, imagination real

  11. Some times it is just so much smarter than I am.

  12. Intuition, if real, requires evidence.  Imagination only requires imagination.

  13. This is a very profound question young man.

Wishful thinking can make a person "see" something he would like to see.  Imagination can make a person "see" any number of things, both desired and undesired.  Any such visions only become psychic *after* they have come to pass, so it's only with benefit of hindsight that any vision becomes psychic, according to the psychics.

With the benefit of hindsight, a strong desire to believe in his special abilities and a completely unverifiable collection of "visions", of course a psychic will claim to be able to see the future.  But, of course, only after the fact.

  14. Well, it is most likely that there is no such thing as psychic intuition, so to say there is a distinction between it and imagination is at the very least mistaken.

  15. First one would have to start with a careful working definition of intuition. I think a lot of it is based on unconscious first impressions myself, you have information and assumptions and you calculate all the variables and decide before you are aware that you are doing so.

So, what would psychic intuition even be? Knowing before you met a person how you would feel about them? Just knowing something is wrong (or right) without any information? Again this needs a careful definition.

Imagination can become true (I see her saying yes, I see her saying yes) just like institution could come true ( I have a feeling she will say yes, I have a feeling she will say yes). Would psychic intuition be "I will meet a girl today that will say yes, I will meet a girl today that will say yes"?

One could say that confirmation could be evidence "I felt that something was wrong with mom and I called home and she had burnt her hand" or something like that I suppose.

Many things are too good to be true I say pursue them anyway.

  16. Psychic intuition seems more like it is not yours, but put inside of your head. Sometimes, I can hear messages on my mind in different voices and I know they are thoughts that come so voluntary, without me really thinking, that I know they are not mine, but from someone else. I believe we have spirits around us guiding us all the time, therefore I believe this connection with them is simply amazingly natural.

You know when it is imagination... yeah, you do!

    Peace!

  17. A sudden vision in wakeful time accompanied by a strangely guilty feeling is a psychic insight such as precognition.

  18. Sometimes it's a subtle, but significant difference. When you wake from a dream and know it was a dream, that's imagination. When you wake from a dream and know it was fact revealed to you, that's intuition. Some ideas carry more weight. If you see something and can't prove it later, your integrity and good character will carry weight. If you see something that you aren't sure what you saw, keep it to yourself, or you'll damage your credibility. Never lie or exaggerate. That will kill credibility.
