Question:

How do you disable logging in Messenger Plus?

I have Messenger Plus!, which is what a lot of people install to get custom font colors.

It has a feature so that everytime I start a new conversation on Windows Live Messenger for Windows XP, it automatically saves the convo to a folder called My Chat Logs in My Documents. It wont let me delete My Chat Logs. :(

How do I get it so that this feature is PERMANENTLY turned off or disabled?

Thanks in advance.

  2. if you mean like it logging in by itself usually the problem is that you have ticked the box that says automatically sign

so to stop it automatically logging in u un click  dat box thing

  3. so you use it too? i really like built in features it has, such as the contact list management, search, and tabbed chatting.

anyways, to permanently disable it, you go to preferences --->Conversations---->Chat logging

i dont like my chats being read by other people either, but i keep it logging. I changed the logging folder to anotehr folder which i made "hidden". so only I knows about the chats being logged and where.

    hope i helped....

edit: btw, the preferences im talking about can be fby clicking the button between teh paintbrush button (for changing the color scheme) and the button of 3 stacked boxes (for messenger plus scripts) in the main messenger window
