How do you disable the vita-chambers in the game Bioshock?

I really want to get the secret achievement Brass Balls and it says i need to disable vita-chambers, how do i do that?

You have to start the game on hard. Then once in the game you have to press Start and go into Options. It is at the bottom of the list... Or, just don't die (and save a lot in case you do).
