  1. stop play when whenever he bites

  2. if my bird starts to get nippy i push her head down. not agressivly but just to show i am dominant and it won't be tolerated

  3. for my parrot i just tapped her beak and sayed no it didnt hirt her but she didnt like it so she stopped bighting me

  4. First of all, do not hit him, yell at him or try to intimidate him. He won't trust you if you do.

There are a few things you can do - look him in the face and say sternly but not loudly, "No" or "Bad bird", and let him know he did something bad by ignoring him - no communication, no eye contact, and leave the room if you must. If he starts flapping around and screeching and won't calm down you can cover his cage with a light blanket for a few minutes until he calms down.

Also, make sure he has some toys or something to chew. Birds can be pretty destructive when they're bored.
