How do you discipline a kitten?

i love my kitten but he does things that drive me crazy...like jumping on top of my laptop. i didn't really mind at first but every time i take him off of it he jumps right back on. and this goes on until i turn it off *he like to watch the cursor move* I try to get him to play with his toys while i work on line but for some reason he just won't leave my computer alone.

also while we sleep he bites us, i'm pretty sure it's just because he wants to play but at three in the morning that gets really annoying.

we thought about time out but we don't really thing that's the best way of taking care of the problems...any ideas?

Get a spray bottle and fill it with water. Everytime kitty does somthing naughty spray the kitty once. It will learn.

Give him a sharp NO and keep a srpay bottle i just got a new kitten yester day mine does the same thing! good luck

He is just being a normal kitten, all you can do is say a sharp NO!!   He will grow out of this, but now hes just like a 2 year old child, just playing with anything and everything!!!

Kittens are jerks. ;) Keep a spray bottle filled with water on hand, or do something to startle him. Pennies in a soda can will do the trick.

Lock your bedroom door at night. He'll grow out of his annoying behavior eventually.
