  1. Yes...that is what you can do with mirrors.  Do you not like what you see?

  2. Interesting question but I don't think there is a proper way of disposing them. Simply throw them in the trash and hope that no one gets cut on them, even yourself, when you go to take the trash out.

  3. you could probably give them away

  4. if you are in the US you can join this site called freecycle.org (or .com, but i think it's .org). you can say you have mirrors for free and people respond if they want them. you just leave them outside at the pickup time and they get them. it helps save things from going to the dump. (bonus...they have lots of stuff on there that you may want...all free)

  5. Wrap it thickly in cling film and turn it around with the mirror side facing away (to avoid superstition =D) and smash with a hammer. The thick cling film will stop any damage and allow you to throw it straight into the trash =D

  6. Mirrors display great strength and treasure if one possess  as they are coated with silver lining....so don't throw them away.

  7. smash them up and put them in a secure box for disposal

  8. if they are still good bring them to a donation place, like Goodwill , if not wrap them up and put a label on them that says GLASS for garbage pick up day , this way the collectors will know what it is and wont cut themselves if they get broken.

  9. chuck them in the bin

  10. I need time to reflect on this....

If they're intact give them to charity, make new frames and re-use, sell them on ebay, give them to a neighbour.

If they're broken (oh, bad luck!) use for craft projects, cut up into mosaic size squares and re-use or if you've really given up on them, into a stout cardboard box, taped closed and "Danger Broken Glass" writ large on the sides and out with the rubbish.

  11. Depending on how big they are you can.  I had a 3' X 6' so I taped it up in sections and then shattered it but you need a safe place to do this.  with the tape the sections stayed pretty much together and I could through it away.

  12. Just set it next to the garbage bin.
