How do you dissect plants?

Over the summer we have to pick a topic for the science fair at my school. My partner and I have both agreed to do a dissection of plants.

I was hoping to get directions on how to do it step by step. Thanks!

  1. A lily or something with big flower parts is generally going to be easier.

    I've been dissecting flowers that are about 3mm and thats not easy
