How do you distinguish lice from dandruff?

I'm not sure if I have lice or dandruff. My sister has lice but I do have dandruff frequently. So I'm not sure which it is.

Lice move, dandruff doesn't.

Here's a close up of lice eggs:

As you can see they look quite different to the white flakes you get with dandruff.

Also, if you have lice eggs you would most likely also find some lice, which do move!  HTH!

Lice look like little bugs and of course, they move. I think dandruff is also smaller than lice.

lice are living creatures so you really cannot mistake them with dandruff flakes. Even lice eggs (yum!) look different than dandruff.
