  1. Open up my computer icon.  Right click on the drive you want to check, select properties, then tools.  Select disk check and at the next reboot the utility will run.

I hope you know what your asking for...this is a true disk check... rt click on C: > properties > tools > error checking >check now > check disk options >check /auto fix>check scan for>........then you will get a message....Disk check couldn't performed...etc. Do you want to schedule a disk check when computer restarts...YES...Then when it restarts it will go in to a Disk check. It will take about one hour.
