like when I press CTRL, ALT and e at the same time i get - é,

but if I want it to be a capital E and have a fada on it - doing different combinations nothing works, it always ends up being a little e. Anyone know how you get a capital E with a fada please? thanks

Dáil Éireann and Bus Éireann have it so it can be done.

  1. Would that be o.k. Bus Èireann or Dáil Éireann?

Press the key left to the "backspace-key´" on the top-line of your keyboard, and afterwards the É.

I've just checked and seen that you might have another keyboard-layout in UK than we have in continental Europe. In the case you need to push the "AltGr" key and type the capital E. Hope it works,

  2. Hold down the "Alt" key, and type 144 on the number pad: É

  3. didn't you just do that???
