  1. you have to line up about 1/2 diamond off side rail then hit second ball full. hit it hard and the eightball goes in the side pocket opposite your break spot. its not very reliable but i can make it about 30% of the time.

  2. the golden break only applies to 9 ball pool where if you pot the 9 ball from the break you win the game, there is no definitive way of achieving this or the game would become defunct

  3. Pure fluke.

  4. Personally, I think it's like picking up a 7-10 split in bowling. Say a few hailmarys, cross your fingers, close your eyes, and strike.

  5. its luck. well in my opinion it is. you need the perfect angle, spin on the ball and perfect power?

  6. You cannot get the 'golden break' in 8 ball pool, it is only available in 9 ball pool. In 8 ball if you pot the black off the break then you lose the rack.

  7. i managed to pot just the black on a break once whilst playing against my boyfriend!! I was stunned lol.. we battled it out for ages whether i had immediately won the game or lost it and decided to text as many people as possible to see what they thought and to find out if i had one! We got an equal amount of replies supporting me losing and winning so to this day i still dont know if i actually lost or won the game?!.. i did it by wacking the white and hoping for the best.. my usual tactic! :)

  8. IF THIS IS NINE BALL POOL THEN YOU WONT WIN UNTIL YOU POT THE NO. 9 BALL, ( WHICH IS THE LAST BALL - AFTER THE BLACK) YOU CANT WIN JUST BY POTTING THE BLACK.

I DONT REALLY KNOW WHICH VERSION OF POOL YOUR PLAYING, BUT IF YOU PLAYING STANDARD PUB POOL THEN YOU CANT WIN BY POTTING THE BLACK OFF THE BREAK, IF THIS IS DONE, THEN THE GAME MUST BE RESTARTED.
