I wanted to get my belly button pierced but never wanted to go somewhere for it. I want to do it myself. Also how do you put the ring in? And! How do you clean it? I know people say Saltwater and other stuff but do you pour it on your belly button or take the ring out? Thanks!!

  1. You don't!

  2. Don't do it at home!!! A girl I know had hers done professionally and it still got infected. It was nasty and she has permanent scarring now.

  3. you don't do it at home. the risk of infection is way too high. get it done somewhere professionally

  4. Don't do it yourself. You will regret not getting it done professionally when it gets infected.

  5. ok. first of all. I would recommend you going to youtube and watch people pierce there belly button by themselves. Its alot more painfull then going and getting it done. But its your choice(: When I got my belly button pierced( I'm 12 by the way) he told me to use salt water. I took a little bit of water and added some salt. I mixed that up and cleaned my belly button with it. you need to you this. dont put anything else on it because it will cause your belly button piercing to become moist and you dont want moist you want dry. When you clean it you leave the ring in. Make sure you are using a 14gage needle. if your not using that kind of needle forget about it. because you wont be able to wear a belly ring. Or buy one. I cant help you on how to pierce it because I didnt pierce mine I went and got it done professionally. Hope the cleaning process works for you though. mine looks great! I love it. But good luck.!

  6. go to a shop that does it,because you do not have the proper equipment, and it's not sanitary. if your like me, i would s***w it up...

plus at the shops, they are trained to do it, and you'll probably be more happy with how the piercing will look if you go to a shop that specializes in that sorta thing.
