  1. Dude I'm telling you now, don't apply a RNC to someone unless you've learned it from an instructor and are competent at it. If you don't release at the right time you risk killing the person or permanent brain damage, both of which will wind you up in ****. If you want to do the RNC well, learn Jiu-Jitsu (be it Japanese or Brazilian).

Also, it's unlikely that you'll be in a self-defence situation where without training you just happen to wind up behind your opponent.

My main point - learn it from training, not the internet.

  2. Well, I'm not gonna pick on you. But I assume you're talking about some kind of choke hold that can render someone unconscious.

The most common 'sleeper hold' is probably the rear naked choke. Which is a technique from Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It's more accurately a strangle hold, and the way it works is, you restrict blood flow to the brain by squeezing closed the carotid artery on each side of the neck resulting in whoever you're strangling passing out.

There are several variations, but basically you find yourself positioned behind your enemy slash opponent. Reaching either of your arms in front of them at shoulder level, you slide your wrist across their throat until their Adams apple is roughly in the crook of your elbow. Close your arm as if you were curling a dumbell. You'll notice that your bicep is pressing against the large vein that runs up the side of your opponent/enemies neck, your forearm should be pressing against the other artery on the opposite side of the neck. Squeeze your opponents neck between your bicep and forearm. Meanwhile, slide your free arm up, so the palm of your free hand is pressing against the upper back of your opponents skull. With the strangling arm, let your hand grip the bicep of the arm that is pressing against the skull. Squeeze, pushing with the hand that is on the skull, and pulling with the arm that is strangling. After 5 to 15 seconds, your opponent will pass out if performed correctly.

A word though. This is extremely dangerous if you don't know what you're doing or when to let go. This technique RESTRICTS BLOOD FLOW TO THE BRAIN! If the choke is not released you could leave whoever you're choking with irreversible brain damage and you WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. The risks in all honestly aren't THAT high, but there is a risk of brain damage or death, so this technique should be used only if you have the training in a controlled environment or if your life depends on it. Hope that helps.

  3. Join martial arts ******** and when you progress enough they might teach you it. You don't want to use it for self defence, you wanna use it on your brother you ******* stupid kid. Get a life. I seriously hope no1 tells you how to do it. This is the kind of **** that's giving martial arts a bad name.

  4. which one there are many. darfs, brabo, rear naked, north south, triangle, arm triangle and side chokes. Oh you shouldn't forget the different gi chokes that can be used with t-shirts and hoodies. I really do not have the time to describe them and learning them off you tube might work but could you or your partner severely hurt
