  1. You really do need the page numbers, too.  It's important that you've seen the original journal reference yourself, not copied it "secondhand" from someone else's use.  Not that the page numbers ensure that, of course, but it's a dead giveaway if you DON'T have 'em.  Sorry, I don't expect this is what you wanted to hear.
