How do you do combined shipping on ebay?

I had a potential buyer ask me and idk how. But I wouldn't mind doing so if I did. Could someone please tell me how to go about combining shipping.

if you sell more than one item, you can do combined shipping.everyone kows that ebayers have expensive shipping, that is how some of them make there money.so i think it means you send more than one parcel and give them a discount.for example one item shipped may be 12 dollars.but if you order 2  maybe the total shipping  will only be 16 dollars. or something to that effect

Just offer reduced shipping on multiple items - a common calculation is full shipping for the first item and half off shipping for each additional item.
