How do you do crossovers in hockey?

I am learning to play hockey and I need to learn this skill.

  1. you bend your knees like usual and you pick up the outside foot and put it over while using the edge from the inside foot to push out gaining power.


  2. Its one of those things you pick up kind of just start doing... At least for me it was. My coach makes us do three or four diagonal crosses across the rink to practice em.

  5. if you want to go left pick your right foot up and cross it in front of your right. to go right pick your left foot up and cross it in front of your right. ummm honestly just go on the ice and try it for yourself because thats as much as i can explain.

  7. Take your foot. Lift it up over the other foot. Push on said foot while stepping with the other foot.

    It's really not hard. Go to a public session and ask somebody. Even better, go to a few skating lessons. It's hard to give a specific description of the motions, just go to a lesson and learn.
