How do you do get air on a bodyboard?

Do the waves have to be a certain height to get air because I've tried with waves about 3-4 and can't get nothing.

you wont get great air on 3-4 feet, you'll get savage air on 3-4 meters. i dont know which one you mean :)

the idea is your meant to propel yourself from the wave face so you drop down on the wave and bounce of it. make sure you got some flipper thingys
