  1. I split it in two piles... lights and darks.  The darks get washed with cold water and the lights get washed with hot water.

  2. okay, you really should separate your clothes. Whites go with whites, jeans with jeans, light colors with light colors, darks with darks, towels with towels, sheets with sheets, blankets with blankets, etc. The whites go in hot wash, cold rinse, all others in cold wash unless they are pretty dirty, then warm wash them. I, too, use suavitel fabric softener and agree that it's the bomb!  Yellow smells awsome but my fave is the blue.  The 8 and 12 are to set the length of your wash cycle. Don't over soap your loads and don't shove as much clothes as you can in the washer. The machine will beak down faster and your clothes won't clean well. Check your tags on special garments for special laundering instructions and, if it says dry clean, don't wash it in the washer. Take it to the cleaners.

  3. you only want to use

Hot water when doing: whites, towels or linens

Cold water for: darks and *delicates ( which are basically things you would hang dry) and colors

Warm for: basically all types especially if your clothes are really soiled

  4. Best to wash colors in cold water, if you don't want them to fade, and especially if they're permanent press.  Don't forget to separate the colors too!  For instance, put all your reds and related colors in one load, darks in another.  I know more than one person who ended up with a load of pink underwear when one red item was missed and put into the same load!  I separate my "better" clothes and wash them in Woolite (not the stuff just for wool, but for fine washables), and then don't have to worry about separating colors except if you've got something very new that might "bleed" the first time or two when it's washed.

    Hope this helps!

  5. Well, im really picky bout that, but here are some secrets:

BTW, i let the washer fill up (w/soap & water) before i add clothes, it makes more suds that way...

FOR LIGHTS\DELICATES - cold water, light fabric softener (may stain some fabrics like silk). Hang dry things like thongs and lace, sheers.

FOR DARKS/JEANS- Warm water, lil extra soap for a through clean. For your fav pairs, dry them on med or low in seperate dryer to maintain crispy appearence.

FOR WHITES - hot water, lil extra soap, add bleach (but not to where you can smell it outside of the d**n washer...), you dont want your clothes to smell like cat p**s or look dingy yellow.

I recom clorox scented bleach and Suavetel (the yelloe one) fabric softener, it smells SOOOOO good.

    GL :)

  6. Everything goes in together, No separate loads for whites

or colors. (Except wool- I do the wool by hand and use

Woolite. I have lots of wool for winter camping trips,

    skiing, etc).

Warm water wash, cold water rinse.

    I use detegent and borax.

They dry out on the line- not in a dryer.

I have no problems with anything coming out bad.

  7. Sort the laundry by color and read the label on the clothing and it will tell you if you should use hot, cold, or warm water.

  8. ok all clothes go in cold water eckept for whites they go in how water

  9. 1. Throw dirty clothes in machine

    2. Put in powder

    3. Wash at 30 degrees

    seems to do the trick
