How do you do loose curls??

Question

I am going out tomorrow night and I really want to do loose curls to my hair but I don't know how, LOL. Kind of like how Lauren Conrad does her hair (from The Hills). Best answer = 10 points! :) Thanks guys!

ill write diffrent answers down

  use a hair straitinger.

        or

wet it down brush it straight then while its wet put hair spray on it.

     or

brush it all over like 3-5 times them wet the under part of u hair and put hair spray on that part cause it is what is curly.

what i like to do is spiral curl my hair using a spiral curling iron... i make the curls nice and tight so i look like a poodle. the catch is i don't use any hair spray because that holds the curl... then with my fingers i sort of combine some of the curls together. that makes them bigger and looser. if you just play with it they get looser too, then once they look like you want them... hairspray it (:
