How do you do the actual "Charlie Brown Dance" for the Cha Cha Slide?

    but you don't neccesarily have to do it that fast. You  usually do it to the beat of the song.

    The actual dance step is a jump or "Jazz Jump" (2 footed jump). In the Cha-cha Slide, the jumps can be forward and back, or from left to right while nodding your head, or turning your head from side to side

    ^that came from a website...what we've always done is keeping both legs straight move with a rocking motion. right foot comes forward then back to the ground...when it touches the ground the left foot moves backwards..and so on..
