How do you do this particular card rising trick?

hi there is a trick where by the magician asks you to pic a card...blah blah ect...

the magician puts the card back in the deck and asks the audience to watch... then the card rises by it self, out of the deck ( its like ony half way though)

how is this done

ps it was revealed once bt cant remember all the details

One way is to use a gimmicked deck which you can buy. However the deck can't be examined afterwards by the spectator.

The other two ways involve slight of hand but as a magician I am not going to reveal them on a public site.
