  1. Hi,

'Castling' is a king and pawn move.  You may like to visit my web page - link below?  Click on 'C' in the dictionary and scroll down to 'Castle'.  I hope this is helpful for you.

    Yours sincerely,

    Chesmayne.

  2. Keep the king and one rook in their original positions. You cannot castle after moving the king or both rooks.

Clear all pieces between the king and one of the rooks.

Castle on the right or left side. The castle move is the same whether you are castling with the king side rook or the queen side rook.

Move the king two squares to the left or two squares to the right. If you want to castle with the right rook, move the king to the right and if you want to castle with the left rook, move the kind of the left.

Slide the rook over one square past the king. The right rook will be one square to the left of the king and the left rook will be one square to the right of the king when the move is finished.

Make sure there is no possibility of a check on the king. The castle move in chess is not allowed if the king is in check, or if the position you move it to puts it into check or if the kind would be in check at any square in between it's original position and its final position.

  3. easy clear out

  4. Hi, here are the exact rules:

    1) There must be a clear path between the king and the rook

    2) The king is not allowed to move over a field that is attacked by a piece from the opponent (For example the white Bishop is on a3 and control the full diagonal. The king can not castle short because he is not allowed to pass the atacked field f8). The Rook is allowed to pass attacked fields!!!

    3) The king can only castle if he NEVER moved before. But if he got in check before and did not move away (he moved a piece between him and the checking piece) then is it ok to castle later.

    4) The King can only castle if the rook that he want to use for the castling never moved before.

    5) It is not allowed to castle out of check. That means if the King is in check, he can not castle at this moment. He have to answer this check with a other move.

    and now the main question:

How do you castle? The king goes two fields to the left or to the right (depends in which direction he wants to castle) and AFTER THIS KING MOVE (You MUST USE In tournament chess first the king and then the rook for this move. If you do it the other way then the opponent can claim and it is only a normal rookmove!!!)  and then the rook from the corner in which the king castled jumps over the king.

    This are all rules!

I am myself since 30 years chessplayer (Elo 2565). So, just trust me, this here is true. I missed nothing and no wrong information!

    Have fun playing Chess!

  5. You have to have a clear path between the King and the rook(from their original positions).

You then move the rook up to the square next to the King and then move the King to the square on the other side of the rook.

  6. This is the website where i got my answers on chess.

    Its called castling.

    Hope this explains it.

  7. there must be empty space between the castle and the king, and none of the spaces the king moves over can be in check.

move the king two spaces toward the castle and place the castle on the other side of the king. you can do this with either castle.

  8. castle can move anywhere but diagonal.

  9. what you do is get in check mate then throw all of his pieces at him except his king then put all your pieces round his , tell him u won ,.complain about the fact he said u lost. Then u buy a large fort like structure hire gaurds become king of your country then sit in your castle and voila a castle on chess
