Is there a formula or equation I can use to figure this out? The angle is 55 degrees and the adjacent sides are 15.50303113 and 36.31161. I'm trying to find the side opposite the 55 degree angle.

  1. hayhaybr is right use the law of cosine, sine, and tangent

  2. Try using SOHCAHTOA?

  3. Use the Law of Cosines.  If the side opposite is c, it would be

    c^2 = (15.503...)^2 + (36.3...)^2 - 2(15.5...)(36.3.....) (cos 55)
