How do you download applications to iPod touch?

I was on iTunes and I got some of the free web apps and bought a few $ 0.99 ones, but when I plugged my iPod touch in they didnt download to my iPod, do I have to buy the 2.0 software update to download they to my iPod?

I dont think that applications go on an ipod touch(only nano and classic)

Yes, you have to have the 2.0 software to download apps to you iPod.

You've gotta have Yahoo! toolbar if you go there from here of course but you probably already have that installed.
