How do you download apps onto the Motorola Q 9c or other PDA/Smartphones?

I have a Motorola Q 9c and I have been trying to figure out how to download third party apps onto it and I just cant figure it out. I used to have the htc Touch from sprint and I cant remember how I got apps onto it. Any ideas?

Well, I've had the Motorola Q 9h and all you need to do is connect it to a computer with the USB and make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync installed, but if you have Vista installed, Vista already has a Sync program. So then just find apps or games or anything online and download the .exe file for it and open, then it should automatically go on your phone. Also, if you want to just download them from your phone, download a .CAB file from the internet and you can install them directly on your phone, but browsing the internet on PDAs suck. Hope this helps.
