How do you download microsoft?

Question

I had a virus that wiped out my microsoft so i can use microsoft paint anymore, help? Where do download it and how. Step By Step walkthru please!

If all you want is MSPaint just go to Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Add-Remove Windows Components>Accessories and Utilities and check Paint and it will be reinstalled

Open a Browser and use google as your search engine

This is the direct link to download ms paint

A tab will appear asking you to save it. hit save.

then install it.

that happend to me before. im not sure where to download it from, but when i had to do a system restore it came back. its really drastic, but it helped.

That happened to me also. I couldn't find anywhere where you could download it again. The only thing that worked was when I had to restore my whole computer, but that gets rid of EVERYTHING except what was already installed on your computer when you got the computer sent to you. You lose all pictures, videos, music, etc.

If you don't mind this and you have dell xps400 windows xp, turn off your computer, and before it starts up (after you turn it on), press ctrl and F11 at the same time.

If it goes to your desktop before the restore, try it again. You have to be quick.

Be sure to backup your personal files to DVD/CD or other device.

Do you have a link anywhere for Paint?

Right click on it and go to Properties.   Shortcut Tab.

Then hit "Find Target"

It should be in  "C:\WINDOWS\system32"  

Target: %SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe

Once you have found it just copy and paste the file to the Desktop and rename it: Paint.

Try that, it is much less drastic then doing a complete restore
