welll if u have an ipod then u can get a software called limewire and then u can drag and drop ur songs into itunes and then sync ur ipod. if u use something else then ur mp3 player wuld have a cd and then u wuld drag and drop ur songs to the software thing that the cd gives u

hook it up then go to media player and there show the device on the left panel and u click it then press sync on the top. then open ur music folder and drag the music onto the sync list then synch

well first u need to know where to download songs, because there are a bunch of places to do this for free  but the best place to download free songs is in limewire, its fast free and easy, first download limewire by the link below once u have this search for any mp3 song or if its a video mp3 player then search for a music video, then download it and after it downloads it should be in the limewire library, then open ur mp3 program where u go to sync songs to mp3 player like windows media player, and drag the song from limewire library to windows media player library and the hit sync

if its a regular mp3 player (not an ipod) you can drag your downloaded music files into ur mp3 player folder that will appear when u plug the mp3 in. if you have an ipod you need to transfer music files into itunes and sync your ipod through the software.
