How do you download songs free onto your phone from your computer as ringtones?

hi! i'm a bit confused with your question.. anyway, i hope i could answer it right.. yes you can download mp3 songs from the web.. my friend uses limewire to do that (but i'm not sure if that is legal).. if you have regular mp3 songs on PC or CD, actually you can convert it using audacity or bitpim, then transfer it to your phone from your PC using cable or bluetooth.. give it a try..
