How do you download songs off of a cd onto your Ipod?

I just bought a cd, and I want to download the songs onto my Ipod. How can I do this?

i'm assuming you have iTunes, all you have to do it put the CD into the computer, iTunes will automatically detect the CD and will start downloading, if it doesn't go to File>Import File(or song i can't remember)>(go to CD drive)>click CD>select all>enter
