How do you download system update 3.90 for a PSP?

I'd like to download the latest system update for my PSP which I think is 3.90 the device asks me to refer to the instruction manual

to learn how to download it but I lost the manual a while ago.

Does anyone know where I go to get the download?

4.01 is the latest firmware version. However you can download 3.90 or 3.95 or 4.0 from www.girlgamers.co.uk/forums/local_links.... as well as other PSP stuff.

u will need to download it by a torrent cause sony only lets u download 3.95

actually the latest update is 4.01. to get it go to http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/About/...

then go down until you see a picture on memory sticks. click on download. then put the eboot in an update folder in caps. after put it in your game folder in you memory stick. (this one is for pc)

if you want to download it without computer. go to network update on the psp and use it to update. ps: you must internet connection to use it.
