  1. You need to install WINE to be able to install Windows applications.


  2. limewire works on linux and wtihout the viruses

    you will need to go to there site and click the link for your distro (hope its ubuntu cause its the easiest) and you will also need to install the JRE from your repos and dont worrry if the install messes up you could also try frostwire as a backup to it

  3. As far as i know limewire only works on windows. This means that it is not designed to run on Linux, you have two options.

    1) Use some different software similar to limewire which is designed to run on linux.

    2) Or use something called WINE which allows you to run some windows applications in linix, it is easily downloadable for free, just use google.

    This applies to most windows applications.
