How do you download videos to the ipod touch?

Can someone give me a really detailed step by step process how to download movies and vidoes? And is it possible to download movies from a DVD?

First, if you got it from iTunes or Limewire, then i can help.  You first well buy or download the movie.  It goes straight to your movies.  Now on the left side there are options like Music, Movies, and such.  Choose your iPod under devices.  Then from there click Movies.  Then press Sync all movies or select the movies you like to put on the iPod.  Then press apply of sync and it will go straight to your iPod.  If that does not work, contact the Apple Store for further instructions.  And no, you can't download movies from a Dvd, buy use Limewire, because you can download free movies, songs, anything! iPod accepts only MP4 format video, you need third party software to convert dvd video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert dvd video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

Then just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

Of course not. iPod only accepts MP4 format and you have to convert the movies from DVD to the iPod supported formoat.

iPod can only support mpeg4 video.
