you can use a slice of lime if you like. but i perfer to follow mine with a shot of coke.

Patron is good tequila.  On the rocks with a lime wedge is PERFECT.  

You could put it in a margarita of course, but when you've got the good stuff, just leave it alone and don't mix it with anything.

Patron is so delicious.  The best "main-stream" tequila for sure.  Anyway... try it in a bloody mary or m'rita.  Shots of patron are twenty times better than Cuervo too.  Just use salt and a lemon wedge.

Most people are going to tell you to shoot it, serve it cold from the freezer or mix with it. That's because EVEN THEY don't think it's good tequila. Deep down in their guts, they recognize it for the over-distilled c**p it is. If you want to do any of those things, just get a good vodka.

Good tequila is NOT supposed to be "smooth." The definition of "smooth" changes from person to person, but tequila is supposed to have a lot of flavor and harshness to it. it's supposed to be sipped like a scotch or cognac.

For a good representation of what tequila SHOULD taste like, try some Partida, Corzo or Don Julio. They are all in the same price range as Patron. Of course, you probably don't have the stomach for it.
