  1. Running faster in the rain doesn't make you any less wet.

Unless shelter is seconds away, you're not going to get hit with less hail just because you're moving.

So it makes no difference on the hail.  Focus on moving safely and use your good judgment on how fast you can move given conditions.

  2. If possible, park the car somewhere covered, such as inside a garage or under a bridge.

Otherwise, park on the side of the road, far out of the driving lanes, well out of the way of anyone who might be trying to drive and not see you, and cover the glass parts, especially the windshield, with blankets, newspapers, garbage, or anything else you can find, so that they do not get broken by the hail.

  3. look for cover.  there is no way to drive safely in a hail storm.

  4. Either sit on the side and take less damage or look for an overpass....

  5. If your not moving, the damage will only be to the car. If your moving at any speed and one of those bullets breaks the window, the next one comes inside.... you know where this is going.

The best action in a severe storm would be to get off the road as far off it as possible. Hail will damage the car but what about the guy who didn't stop and now he's heading right for you at 45mph?

  6. you dont drive pull over it is not woth risking your life and others

  7. Try and find an underpass if you can't, pull over to the side of the road and stop, don't keep driving.
